The present report includes: i) the management activities which were carried out and ii) the restrictions regarding the vegetation management identified during 2020, as well as iii) the proposals for the wetland vegetation management in 2021 and iv) the operational plan for the proposed management activities. The report also presents other issues related with wetland management, such as the wildfires in the reedbed. The proposed management interventions aim at the restoration of the wet meadows in the littoral zone of Lesser Prespa, a very important feeding habitat for the breeding waterbirds of the area, as well as in the overall management of wetland vegetation in the lake for the protection of important waterbirds colonies.
