With the arrival of the amphibian machinery for reed cutting all the necessary equipment of the project for wetland management has been acquired. Training of the project staff on the operation of the machine was completed by specialized personnel of the Swedish production company. During the 2-day training session, a detailed presentation of all the functions of the machinery and the necessary maintenance operations was completed. This was followed by practical demonstration and training on the real conditions of the thick reedbed of Lake Lesser Prespa, both in partially inundated areas and on open water. The amphibian machinery will be used for cutting reed within areas of high water level, where other machinery, such as the tractor, can not access.
