According to the results of the 4th Annual National Pelican Report, the breeding population of Dalmatian pelicans in 2018 in Greece was 2,082 breeding pairs, while that of great white pelicans was 614 pairs. The National Pelican Report was created by combining the most important elements of the annual reports compiled by the Managing Authorities of 12 important pelican wetlands in Greece. It includes data related to breeding, as well as any important observations or events related to pelicans that took place in 2018 in Greece’s wetlands.
